All you’ll need for this recipe is two sausage patties, one egg prepared how you like it, and a slice of your favorite cheese. Feel free to add in some sliced tomato, spinach or avocado to put your own spin on it.
Depending on what you add to your sandwich, you should be looking at a tasty breakfast that’s under 5 net carbs.
#3 Radish Breakfast Bowl
No potatoes? No problem! This tasty breakfast bowl is a creative and keto-friendly spin on a classic potato scramble.
Start by pan frying 4 ounces of your favorite ground sausage. Remove the sausage and leave the grease in the pan.
Cut up 8 ounces of radishes into bite-size pieces and fry them up in the grease from the sausage until they’re tender.
Plate up the radishes, then dump a ¼ cup of shredded cheese and your cooked sausage on top.
Finally, cook up an egg however you like an add that on top of your bowl. There you have it, a delicious breakfast with only 7 grams of carbs.
#4 If It Ain’t Broke…
It’s hard to think of a more classic (or tastier) breakfast than good ol’ steak and eggs.
Cook up two eggs however you like along with a 10-ounce sirloin steak (you can sub out sirloin for a fattier cut if you prefer.) Add sliced avocado on the side. In no time flat, you’ll have a protein-packed, delicious low-carb breakfast.
#5 Salmon-Filled Avocado Breakfast
Here’s another one of our favorite easy keto breakfast ideas, the salmon-filled avocado. You can get this ready in five minutes flat, and it’s delicious and packed with nutrients.
Take an avocado and cut it in half, removing the pit. Add a tablespoon of crème fraîche (sour cream or even cream cheese will work in a pinch) to each half of the avocado.
Add 3 ounces of smoked salmon on top of each half of the avocado, and season it with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
That’s it! A five-minute keto breakfast with only 6 net carbs.
