If you folks are ever in Montréal, you should check out Mondial de la bière (in the summer) or l’Hivernale des Brasseurs (in the winter) – two great beer festivals not to be missed!

Simple Eggs Benedict Recipe
I feel as if I should give you guys some mad props, as it’s always great to get feedback, and sometimes I simply forget to. I tried this recipe for the first time… I guess it was 2 years ago now. Though time consuming, everything came out perfectly according to the recipe. The English muffins were a nice, fluffy touch.

Well, 2 years later, and I’m preparing to make lunch for some friends this morning, and no one is going to complain if I put some Eggs Benedict in front of them. As one of my friends is a vegetarian, I think I’ll substitute ripe avocado slices topped with some lemon-cilantro arugula salad for the ham.

I just wanted to let you guys know how much I enjoy your blog, and it has been one of my favorites for quite some time now. I look forward to all of your future posts!

Huevos Rancheros with Chorizo Refried Beans
Looking forward to being a hero come Saturday afternoon.

A question – one of my friends for whom I will be cooking is a vegetarian. Would her serving be completely mutilated if it was void of chorizo? If yes, I may make something else.
