You can definitely do it without the Oreo crust. Just skip that part of the recipe entirely. Cook time for the rest of the recipe will remain the same. Enjoy!

Granny Smith apples are always an option, but if you can get Pink Lady or Fuji apples, use those. You can even do a combination of them to get a more diverse flavor. I have had great success with all three. Let us know how it comes out!
